Kathy's Knits

A specialist yarn shop in Broughton Street, Edinburgh, stocking particularly British yarns from quality producers such as Blacker Yarns, Jeanette Sloan, JC Rennie and New Lanark; also knitting accessories, some finished garments and jewellery. The shop is intended to be a haven for knitters who want to feel the quality of the yarn, browse, chat about a project and enjoy a personalised service.

Carol and Pete Leonard's website. They sell a range of spindles and Bonkers fibre in merino and bamboo; superwash merino, bamboo and nylon; and merino and tencel.

Michael Williams

He is a wood turner who makes spindles, weaving, braidmaking and other textile related wooden items. He spindle spins and tests all the spindles he makes.
